Free InfoAsset is for organizations already committed to Innovyze’s paid ecosystem. For most standalone users, a combination of QGIS and EPANET provides better functionality at zero cost. If your goal is to manage infrastructure assets for free, look elsewhere. If you’re testing InfoAsset before a big purchase, the free version is adequate for kicking the tires. Recommendation: Download only if you already use InfoAsset Manager paid version and need a free viewer for non-editing staff. Otherwise, try QGIS with the QWater or SewerCAT plugins for a truly free and editable asset management experience.
