She had to reroute traffic, isolate the corrupted node, and spin up a backup before the whole thing collapsed. Two minutes on the clock. The bar was already at 81%.

Ana stared at the screen, her coffee growing cold in her hand. She'd seen this before. Three years ago, the company had run a "teste de velocidade" on their servers. Half the team had been let go within the week—their response times deemed "insufficient for modern demands." Task seven
