Not because you’ll forget something important.
So you set the alarm.
Because by 8:00 PM, most of us have already surrendered to the scroll. To the autoplay. To the half-attention that passes for rest. We tell ourselves we’ll read that book. Call that friend. Stretch. Breathe. Write. Think. set alarm for 8:00 pm
The soft hour. The dimming light. The chance to close the day with intention, not exhaustion. Not because you’ll forget something important
But we don’t.
8:00 PM is when the world begins to soften. The sun has either set or is pulling its last golden thread across the sky. The rush hour is a memory. The second cup of coffee has worn off. The kids might be in pajamas. The dishes are stacked, but not yet done. but not yet done.
