The title isn’t “Prison Breaks” (plural). It’s Prison Break . Singular. Michael Scofield tattoos an entire prison’s blueprint on his body to break his brother out of death row. That’s a 22-episode, self-contained masterpiece.
And yet—and here’s the paradox—we love the later seasons because of their flaws. We love Mahone’s arc. We love T-Bag surviving everything. We love the absurdity of a fourth prison break. Why?
