My investigation suggests the Orb of Vaermina has mutated the local fungal ecosystem. Typically benign, these fungi now exhibit rapid tropism—growing toward the Orb’s dais as if in worship. In two chambers, I observed fungal “pseudopods” that twitch when exposed to magicka. This symbiosis (or infestation) renders prolonged exploration hazardous without a resistance to poison or illusion magic.
