With the first season of Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage barreling toward its finale, the pressure has been mounting on the young McAllister couple. Episode 17, circulating internally under the production code , is being described by insiders as “the calm before the emotional storm.”
A subplot back home involves Connor (Dougie Baldwin) accidentally locking Audrey in the basement. While played for laughs initially, it forces Jim (Will Sasso) to confess that he’s noticed the cracks in Georgie and Mandy’s marriage, too. “They’re not fighting,” Jim tells a panicked Audrey. “That’s the problem. They’ve stopped fighting. That’s when you know it’s really broken.”
