This study used a mixed-methods approach, combining both qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis methods. A survey was conducted among Turkish anime fans who watched the first season and episode of "Demon Slayer" with Turkish subtitles on DiziGom. The survey included questions about the fans' demographic information, anime viewing habits, and opinions about the series. Additionally, a content analysis of the comments section on DiziGom was conducted to gather more information about the fans' reactions and discussions about the series.
The findings of this study suggest that "Demon Slayer" has gained a significant following among Turkish anime fans, particularly among young adults. The series' popularity can be attributed to its well-crafted storyline, relatable characters, and high-quality animation. Additionally, the availability of Turkish subtitles on DiziGom has made the series more accessible to Turkish fans, allowing them to enjoy the series in their native language.
