Step 4: Open regedit and go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList Step 5: Find the key with your old path and change the ProfileImagePath value to the new name. Step 6: Log out of Administrator and log back into your account.
