Data was collected from three public Albanian Facebook groups and two Telegram rooms (total N ~ 500 participants) between January–March 2026. A combination of discourse analysis and a self-report survey (n=87) on language attitudes was employed.

However, they also accelerate linguistic change, introducing hybrid forms like "Shqipanglisht" (Albanian-English mix).
