Smooth on a mid-range PC. We played 2-player with Xbox controllers and had no noticeable lag or frame drops. The screen splits vertically (left/right) by default, which works well on a widescreen monitor or TV.

I picked up Beach Buggy Racing specifically for , and it’s been a blast. Getting a working 2–4 player local racing game on PC is harder than it should be, but this one nails it.

The interface for adding players is a little clunky (have to press start on each controller at the right moment), and 4-player split-screen can feel cramped on a smaller monitor. Also, no online cross-play, but that’s not why you buy this.

If you want a polished, power-up-filled arcade racer for 2–4 players on one PC, this is a hidden gem. Works great with Steam Remote Play Together too. Highly recommended for casual gaming nights.

It’s basically Mario Kart with a beach-party vibe — power-ups, drifting, short cuts, and weapon mayhem. The AI is decent, tracks are colorful, and the handling is forgiving but fun.

All characters and vehicles are available from the start in split-screen, so no grinding needed to enjoy with friends. You can also mix AI opponents in to fill the race.
