Angola China May 2026

🤝 From oil to industry, the relationship is maturing.

Beyond the headlines of debt and diplomacy lies a tangible reality: Angola has been China’s largest trading partner in Africa for nearly two decades.

🛢️ Oil: The backbone of the "Angola Model" (infrastructure for oil credit). 🛣️ Infrastructure: Over 2,000 km of railways (Benguela Railway), 10,000 km of roads, and Luanda’s new International Airport rebuilt by Chinese firms. 📈 Trade: Bilateral trade surged past $23 billion USD annually.

Angola and China share one of Africa's most dynamic economic partnerships. While oil drives the engine, new deals in solar energy, digital infrastructure, and agriculture are taking the wheel.

We are moving from pure oil-backed loans to manufacturing, agriculture, and industrial parks (like the Luanda-Bengo S.E.Z.).
