In the small village of Aagmaa, nestled in the rolling hills of Mongolia, a legendary horse was said to roam the open steppes. The villagers believed that this horse, with its coat as black as coal and mane as white as snow, possessed a spirit that could heal the deepest wounds.

Nomin-Erdene packed a small bag, said goodbye to her tearful family, and set out onto the steppes. She rode her own horse, a sturdy mare named Khulan, across the endless grasslands, facing scorching sun, pouring rain, and even a pack of hungry wolves.
The Aagmaa horse nickered softly and nuzzled Nomin-Erdene's hand. Suddenly, a vision appeared before her eyes – her mother, smiling and laughing, just as she had been before she passed away. Many had attempted to find the horse, but none had succeeded
